Tag Team's Back Again!
Do you remember the hit song of the ’90s, “Whoomp! (There It Is)” by the hip hop duo Tag Team? Those of us who grew up in the 90’s definitely should! It was all over the place, being showcased in commercials and movies from that decade.
Well, you’re in for a treat as I’m bringing on half of that team as my special guest today, DC the Brain Supreme.
He went from being a DJ to forming Tag Team and releasing the hit song we all love, eventually getting tied up in legal woes and going back to DJing. With the legal troubles, he knew he had to reinvent himself, so what did he do?
He began to learn about finance, SEO, and public relations to build the empire that is DC the Brain Supreme.
In this episode, he talks about what it was like to form the Tag Team group and create one of the biggest hit records of all time, and how he rebounded from that to find his way to starring in one of the top commercial spots of 2020 and 2021.
