Financial Independence, Retire Early--that’s the dream, right? It’s also a movement, one that this week’s guest lives by.

Ironically, Max Lee already achieved the FIRE dream a few years before even hearing about the movement. He didn’t start off with a silver spoon in his mouth, either. Based in Florida, he might have been content to spend his days continuing to ply his musician trade. His wife, however, encouraged him to open a real estate investment firm together.

He agreed, collecting rental properties and doing some fix n’ flips. Now they’ve built up enough passive income to take care of the mortgage and food while each following their individual passions (and for Max, that still includes music).
